Property DetailsAlpen Haus is a private secluded home surrounded by open fields and tree covered hills where wildlife roam freely near beautiful Lake Chatcolet on the southern edge of Lake Coeur d' Alene.
With many home baked pastries & breads available for breakfast, guests can splurge and then work it off on the hiking trail just behind the house or sit and relax and enjoy the pampering. Coffee & tea are always available. German is sometimes spoken!
All quoted rates are for two people. Additional guests are $8 per night for breakfast.

The Bouquet Room comforts you with the peace of blossoming flowers. Done in a soft rose and teal pastel, you can rest on the comfort of a welcoming queen size bed. A private full bath adds to the comfort. Sitting in the Gazebo with a morning cup of coffee or tea is a must in the morning.

The Angel Room invites you into a world surrounded by angels. With angels looking on, visitors can relax with a glass of wine, cup of tea or mug of coffee in the turret window seat.
Chances are very good, that while gazing out the windows at the surrounding tree covered hills, you might spot a mother deer with her fawns coming into the yard to sneak some plums or apples, or a flock of turkeys sneaking through the fields looking for bugs for dinner.
A private entrance will allow you to open the door and gaze upon the beautiful open fields and forests without seeing another house no matter which way you look. If this is still not relaxing enough, then a soak in the jetted tub is a must.
The angels will still be watching in this roomy private bath which boasts two sinks. The inviting king size bed will add an unbelievable touch of comfort and delight to your day.

The Upstairs Apartment is available to meet every need of the vacationing family or couple who just want to get away from it all. A balcony, full kitchen with dishes and refrigerator, full bathroom, queen size bed, sitting room, extra room for children to play or sleep, a turret bistro table and a spiral private entrance provide all the necessary requirements for a peaceful time away. With swimming, boating, biking, and hiking just 2 miles away, families can relax and enjoy the time.
